The highly sought after Cobb “throwing” card (#10B) from the 1921-22 American Caramel set of 120 that includes this and 10A, which has him batting. Cobb is listed as “Ty Cobb Mgr. -- Detroit Americans” under the vintage picture of him limbering up his arm before a game as a Tiger teammate stands to his left. The card measures 1 7/8” x 3” and is printed on the back “Leading Base Ball Stars Made only by American Caramel Company, Lancaster and York, Penna.” Card grades EX++ and is just a wee bit right-centered, with a red speck on the back and the slightest possible visible damage on the upper left hand corner. A classic Cobb Caramel, at a sweet price perhaps?
