Worn by the Hall of Fame pitcher at the twenty-fifth reunion events at Sportsman's Park in commemoration of his part in the glorious victory over the Yanks in the '26 World Series. The real thing would cost you an arm and two legs--it should (and may) be in the Hall of Fame, but this perfect replica of the uniform that "Pop" wore that Championship season differs only in that the number "16" on the back wasn't present in 1926--it was obviously put there to aid in identification of the superstar for the fans in 1951. "Haines" is chain-stitched in red thread in the tail, and in the waistband as well beside the year "1926." Condition is a strong NRMT; it will look spectacular upon display in your trophy room.
