The Beatles are heralded here as "Parlophone Recording Artists," even though their first record, "Love Me Do," was still ten days from release when they appeared at this Liverpool-area Women's Institute in September of 1962. While this was the group's third appearance at the venue, it was the first with newest member, Ringo Starr, who had replaced the ousted Pete Best just six weeks prior. Very minor creasing on the handbill and a near perfect, unused ticket are mounted, double-matted, and framed with an 11x14" photo by Liverpool photographer, Peter Kaye. From a Different vendor.
