Nov. 3, 1959 letter from White Sox GM Hank Greenberg on the team's Comiskey Park stationery to Arthur R. Macoskey, wishing him luck on his efforts to bring a big league team back to Brooklyn after being abandoned by the Dodgers. Writing that the borough "certainly deserves a major league franshise," he concluded: "With all good wishes. Sincerely yours, Hank Greenberg," the left-handed signature in green ink a solid 9/10. Rare 8.5 x 11" letterhead is VG with folds used at one time to highlight the body of the letter and is mildly shredded and soiled in spots.
