Vintage erotica in this 3-item collection from the 1930s. Centerpiece is the 351-page book "Gefilde Der Lust" (rough translation: "Garden of Desire"). Published in Germany in 1930, the large impressively bound volume is a panorama of erotic art and sexual mores around the world, with pages filled with illustrations including many color plates. Some of it is raw, some dainty, with accompanying German text that no doubt is very prim and proper, given that the subtitle touts a psychological study of sex. An important book is sexology, VG-EX with a slightly dislodged blue-gold front cover. Also two 5 x 5" ceramic plates apparently from Germany or Austria with tasteful hand-painted images, one of a soldier romancing a shy maiden and another of a mustachioed Peeping Tom. Plates NRMT with no chipping.
