Fascinating Mike Appel letter dated January 27, 1973, before the bitter legal fight between he and Bruce led to Appel being dumped. In the letter Appel, who discovered Springsteen, refers to the upcoming "Wild, Innocent and The E Street Shuffle" LP and gleefully notes "Everybody is calling us about foreign and printing rights." It's signed "Mike, Jim and Bob", the "Jim" being his partner Jim Cretecos. Letter is on stationery from Appel's Laurel Canyon Ltd. and Mint.
