Two documents on vellum, the first signed by George IV (King of England 1830-1837) at Carlton House, on February 13th 1821 and the second, a partially engraved document in the name of George III (King of England 1760-1820), signed George G.R. at Carlton House July 7th 1814. The document signed by George IV is 2 -page tall folio (8x13") approves Samuel Marry at as a council for petitioner in an insanity case. The document is countersigned by Lord Sid mouth. The second document (10x13") is an elegant certificate done in calligraphy that commissions a lieutenant. It is signed "George PR" at upper left as regent, above royal and revenue stamps. Both documents are EX+ and signatures 9/10. The vellum is white and the engraving or handwriting quite legible. This is a superior example of early 19th century documents from the British monarchy.
