The guts of the old snakepit on Causeway Street may be gone but its spirit lives on in hallowed items salvaged before the Garden was demolished. Folding chair with a gold plate reads "Boston Garden 1946-1995 Floor Seats, Boston Celtics/Special Events". Floor mounted seat has stenciled number "11." Both in splendid condition, the former with smoothly shellacked wood, the latter with minimal nicks, tarnish and paint loss. Also 3 banners signed by beloved Bruins defenseman Ray Bourque, one 30 x 40" from the '96 NHL All-Star Game (played at the Fleet Center) signed "Ray Bourque, MVP '96", and two 24 x 35" "One Team, One Goal" Avalanche banners, one blue, one maroon, from the 2001 playoffs when Bourque was with the team and won the Cup. All 3 Bourque signatures and the banners are NRMT.
