The famed Pirates scout is best known for bringing a man named Clemente to the Majors. Four passports included in this lot are filled with stamps from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Panama, etc., showing that Haak made many trips back to the Latin American well after such a find. These passports are joined by various photos and postcards culled from Haak's many journeys south of the border, and contained in a monogrammed travel wallet. Best in the lot, however, is the black and yellow leather garment bag blessed with the Pirates logo and embroidered with Haak's name.
