The majestic play of Roberto Clemente made him a huge fan favorite, both in Pittsburgh and in other National League cities. He's shown here right in the middle of his career with the Bucs as part of the highly desireable and sought after set of 1963 Fleer. This is no ordinary 8, either. It's graded 8.5, or Nm/Mt+ by Global, and basically appears as a Mint card. The faintest tilt cut from right to left is all that keeps this beauty from the exalted Mint 9 status. A true showpiece and one of the keys to the '63 set.
