Schematic of downtown Brooklyn dating from the late 19th Century contains the site of Washington Park where the Brooklyn Superbas--later the Dodgers, played their home games from 1898 until 1912. They are marked "Washington Baseball Grounds" and the location of the stands are noted. Full color schematic measures 31x21.5" and shows part of "Ward 22". Part of the outfield wall from Washington Park still stands and is now owned by Con Edison. A great piece of Brooklyn history. EX+.
