This gold ribbon made the rounds in Yuma when the team formerly known as the St. Louis Browns arrived there for spring training in 1954 to begin playing under a new name. The ribbon, which may be the only one that has survived, reads in black lettering "Welcome Baltimore Orioles, Spring Training 1954, Yuma, Ariz." Gold color is still bright and the ribbon is EX with a very small stain over the words "spring", some mild fold marks, and a tiny pinhole on the upper center.
