A fantastic looking nine pieces of original comic art from the legendary comic strip "Dick Tracy". Each of these nine pieces measures 23x7.5", the original work of Chester Gould, who illustrated Dick Tracy from 1931 until 1985. The first two pieces of art date from 1944 and feature Dick Tracy and "The Brow". The reamining 7 pieces date from 1951and have titles such as "Rustic Tour", "A Motionless Trip" and "Good Hands". Chester Gould's name is blended into each piece of artwork as are the copyrights for the Chicago Tribune and the date that the comic first ran. The April 7, 1951 has a Strathmoer stamp in the upper righthand corner. Very scarce pieces averaging EX.
