Fontaine Fox's classic Toonerville cartoon was originally drawn in 1908 and called "The Toonerville Folks," but later run as the "Toonerville Trolley." The strip was drawn continuously from 1908 until 1955 and appeared in over 300 newspapers at its peak in the mid 1930s. The offered original art is undated, but probably dates from the 1930s. It is in overall Excellent condition with a light centerfold and two staple holes on the upper half of the panel. 8 x 9.5 inches.
