The Sooners' only loss in '58 -- by 1 point to Texas -- kept them from a possible national championship, but their 21-6 Orange Bowl rout of Syracuse made Bud Wilkinson's boys Big 8 champs. The ring for achieving that honor has a Jostens Ruby on top of 10k ring with "University of Oklahoma 1892" surrounding. Left shank reads "Orange Bowl 1959", right shank "Big 8 Champs" each around a football with victor's laurel imagery. Inside of band is engraved with initials "J.D.Y."
