Step back through the storied history of the Bronx Bombers with these beautiful jerseys. First a beautiful reproduction of a 1903 New York Highlanders navy blue jersey with a white “N Y” stitched onto the front. This jersey features an authentic high collar and the original Highlanders colors. The second jersey is a Mitchell and Ness size medium and reproduces the Yankees 1916 jerseys complete with the familiar navy NY on the chest. This acrylic and wool jersey is white with navy and red pinstripes and has the Cooperstown Collection tag on the front. There are a few minor stains near one of the buttonholes. The next item in this collection is a 1927 Babe Ruth gray road jersey with the word “Yankees” stitched in navy letters across the chest and Ruth’s immortal number 3 on the back. This jersey has no tags. The final piece in this collection is a 1939 Lou Gehrig replica road jersey produced by Southland Athletics. It’s a size 48 gray jersey with the navy “New York” stitched across the chest and “The Iron Horse’s” number 4 on the back. There is a 1939 World’s Fair patch on the left sleeve of this jersey, which comes with matching gray pants also from Southland Athletics, size 38. Overall condition is NRMT
