This lovely broadside dating back to Friday, September 3, 1915 combines baseball, tobacco and politics. It measures approximately 22 x 13" and is for Sterling Tobacco. "Smoke and chew Sterling, It's Union Made", it reads in bold letters. The main body of this cardboard broadside features baseball scores from the National League, the American League, the N.Y. State League, the International League and the short lived Federal League. Along the bottom and the right side are photographs of candidates running in the local political elections for Country Controller, City Council, County Commissioner and Coroner. This vintage piece beautifully captures the spirit of the early 20th Century. EX-MT.
