This is the 40th anniversary of MAD Magazine, an Americjan institution for those who belong in one. Most Baby Boomers will giddily recall the 33 1/3 RPM music disks inserted into the MAD annuals. Here are not only proofs of two such cardboard disks, "She Got a Nose Job" (3) and "She Lets Me Watch Her Mom and Pop Fight" but, amazingly, three of the actual record "stampers" -- or original master disks -- that churned out the disks! These are labeled "Mad # 2C" (1962), "Mad #3" (1963) and "Mad-4" (1965). In sleeves from Audio Matrix Inc. studio. Stampers are heavy steel and in MT condition. Sleeves and proofs are EX, some browned with age.
