"Le Grand Orange" used this beautiful R43 Louisville Slugger during 1964, his second season in the majors with the Houston Colt 45's. It has Staub's number 11 written in black marker and "R43" stamped into the knob. The barrel has Staub's name stamped on it and shows great use with plenty of pine tar on the handle. There is a crack on the upper portion of the handle of this bat from one of the most popular players of his era.
