In over 100 years of World Series play there has never been a wilder game than Game 5 of the 1920 World Series. With the best of nine Series between the Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Robins tied at 2 games apiece, the Tribe broke the series open in a stunning 8-1 victory over Brooklyn. In this game, Bill Wambsganss recorded the only unassisted triple play in World Series history, Elmer Smith of the Indians hit the first ever grand slam in World Series play and Indians pitcher Jim Bagby became the first pitcher to hit a home run in the Fall Classic when he hit a three run blast in the 4th inning. This colorful pink ticket stub from that game, played at old League Park in Cleveland, measures 4” X 2” and admits the holder to the Upper Deck Grand Stand on the first base side for the “World Championship Games 1920, Cleveland (American League) vs. Brooklyn (National League).” "Game 2" written on the face referring to the second game played in Cleveland. The ticket cost $5.50, a fortune back in 1920. There is minor creasing on the ticket but overall it rates an “8” out of a possible 10.
