One of the all-time Record Picture Sleeve rarities and one of the most controversial pieces of Rolling Stones memorabilia is this 45 sleeve for the misogynistic "Beast of Burden". Withdrawn quickly due to its depiction of a lion sitting atop an either terrified or enraptured "Jane," this particular example seems as if it were never touched. The same can be said of the promotional-copy 45 record (RS 19309) with light blue label, the long version on one side, short version on the other. The extremely rare sheet music booklet is in the same purple motif as the picture sleeve, and shows only slight damage on the right edge of the cover. NM-MT.
