Home white mesh Miami Dolphins jersey is right off the back of the best pure throwing quarterback of all time. Inside the neck is the "Wilson [size] 50" manufacture's tag with "93" embroidered on plate below. Marino's number "13" is screened on the front, back and sleeves in green white and orange. Both sleeves also bear the screened on Dolphins team logo. Right sleeve is custom cut by the armpit for freer arm motion and has a small rectangular "J.R." patch. A white mesh nameplate on the back has the tri-colored "Marino" screened across. This nameplate was used in the Dolphins' Aug. 7, 1993 exhibition game against the Atlanta Falcons. Immediately following the game, the NFL commissioner banned the tri-colored lettering because it proved illegible on TV, making this Marino jersey all the more unique and rare. Jersey is signed by Marino in orange felt tip on the number, "1" on the back. "NFL" shield embroidered at bottom of the V-neck on front. Shows nice game use. LOA's for the autograph and the jersey itself.
