A pair of rustic scorecards from the days before the team became the Dodgers and home was Washington Park. The "Superbas," as they were inexplicably called, were the doormat of the National League in the early 1900s, but the grandstand -- part of which still stands today -- was generally packed with fans such as the hardy soul who kept score on these cards for games against Boston and Pittsburgh. Remarkably good condition, with lots of picturesque ads for such as "Mrs. Winslow's Soothing Syrup" and the Clinton St. Turkish Baths. EX.
