ONL (Giles) baseball had the honor of being an integral part of one of the most magical -- and confounding -- postseasons in history, when the Pirates were treated like rag dolls by the Yankees in 3 games but clawed out wins in 3 others to get into Game 7 -- and copped it on Bill Mazeroski's "Shot Heard 'Round Pittsburgh" in the 9th inning to bring Pittsburgh its third World Championship. The ball, which may possibly have seen some action in that climactic contest, shows nice use and is signed with high-grade signatures by by Nestor Chylak and other 1960 World Series umpires.
