Atlanta Braves cap was worn by Hammerin' Hank Aaron for the 1973 season, in which he etched in stone his title as baseball's home run king. Shown is the 8x10" photo, documenting Aaron's game worn cap, which he is holding up in the photo, taken on July 21, 1973 - the day he hit home run #700. Cap with Atlanta Braves team logo, "a" on the front. Under the visor is handwritten his number, "44", vintage and slightly bled into the fabric from sweat. Sweat-stained inner band is stamped "Pro KM Cap" with [size] "7 3/8" next to it. Tagging is "Pro KM". Shows great use and in perfect shape. Originally obtained directly from Hank Aaron after a game in 1973.
