Black Baltimore Orioles cap with embroidered orange team logo on front was worn by the Orioles all-time greatest pitcher, Jim Palmer during his rookie 1965 season. That year, Palmer recorded 5 wins and 4 losses with a 3.72 ERA. The following season, he would lead all Orioles pitchers with 15 wins. Game worn cap shows incredible signature use from regular season game during his rookie campaign. Number “22” written under the visor in black marker. Well broken in with sweat stained inner band. Tagged “Wilson [size] 71/8” on the inside. Bill was folded, and is “cracked” in 3 spots.
