Lot Description  

Brilliant original artwork done for the cover of the 1970-71 ABA Championship Game program. Announces, “Kentucky - Utah, 1971 ABA Championship” with colorful illustrations of Darel Carrier and Merv Jackson below. On the matting below is printed, “1970-71 Kentucky Colonels, Easter Division Champions.” 1970-71 was a particularly important year in ABA history, as Artis Gilmore was signed to the Colonels and Julius Erving joins the ABA. Artwork is matted to 9x11”, framed to 18x22”. EX-MT.
