Before he was the "Iron Horse" he was "Columbia Lou". Two pencil scored programs dating from Gehrig's two-sport playing days at Columbia University. The black on white single sheet is from April 1922 and has "Gehrig Ib" printed third in the line up against Cornell. Lightly toned throughout and mounted at one time as indicated by adhesive markings on the reverse top edge. VG-EX. The football program from November 4, 1922, versus Columbia, includes "Right Halfback-19-Gehrig" on page eleven. Creased top to bottom along left side and once mounted as well it displays some paper loss to the back cover. Good-VG.
