Mantle played 262 games at first base for the New York Yankees in the last 2 years of his Hall of Fame career. This Spalding Super-Trapper shows great, thorough use from those 2 seasons. It is marked, “The Digger”, pro model 42-405 with radial laced heel, control-action back, and T-Bar web. Well broken in and marked with “Mickey Mantle” printed in faded black marker on the thumb. Also on the thumb is a much darker signature from old number 7, signed at some point after the glove was used. Original tag from that sale is still attached to the glove.
