From the most dominant decade of the Japanese powerhouse comes this magnificent road gray, flannel jersey. Worn by an unknown player during the reign of the great Sadaharu Oh, it displays in black on orange felt, “Tokyo 57” across the chest, the number “57” on the reverse, and “Giants” on the left sleeve. Lightly and evenly toned throughout as a result of fine use and age, the jersey, collar tagged from “Tamazawa”, is missing one button. One of only a few baseball treasures from the Far East ever to make it stateside.
