This heavy and hearty leather and wool Pirate jacket dates back to the '60s, echoing memories Forbes Field, the green weenie, and those great sleeveless uniform shirts. The jacket apparently kept a number of those swashbuckling Pirates warm, including pitcher Jim Rooker, and such was always a priority on those cold Pittsburgh nights. On the left chest is a gold chenille letter "P" and on the left sleeve is a "100th Anniversary" MLB patch. The button-up displays heavy use with multiple team repairs to the back and 3/4" seam seperation along back neck. Tagged "MacGregor [size] 44" on the inner left tail.
