Rarely do you see a 1932 Yankee team ball with signatures this bold. 19 black ink signatures cover the surface of this shellacked “Babe Ruth Home Run Special” ball with blue & red laces. Ruth on the sweet spot, autograph invaded by a few blemishes is joined by the likes of Gehrig, Ruffing, Lazzeri, Sewell, Dickey, Gomez, Pennock, & more. The Gehrig is especially dark and prominent, grading a “8.5” out of a possible 10. The ball is lightly crazed under its shellacked surface, but this is one of top display quality. Definitely in the upper echelon of NY Yankees balls from the era.
