Roger Maris Senior Yearbook 1952 Shanley High School, Fargo, ND. With only 55 people in the graduating class, this is a very, very tough book to find and a unique piece of history for Roger (as his name in high school was spelled Maras). He appears in 4 photos, three of which are individually-posed shots. He has a "Senior" photo with a complete activity list, a super football head shot and an individual basketball shot as well as an "in action" basketball shot. The book has no major defects (no cutouts, no missing pages, no moisture damage) but is well worn with some inside binding loosening and extensively inscribed and written in (although nothing detracting from any of Roger's photos.) Adding to the significance of this book is the fact that his future wife, Patricia Carvell, appears with an individually-posed head photo as a Junior.
