A delightful piece of stadium Americana. This Yankee Stadium relic was a faithful piece of the ballpark’s history, used by ticket takers to hold ticket stubs. Wonderfully constructed metal cylinder is painted Yankee navy with “N.Y. Yankees” stenciled in white paint. Circular team logo sticker, which was once affixed near the top is 50% intact and is held on with tape. Top is identified by a white plate with stamped, “31”. Its hinged top lifts off to reveal the hollow compartment and locks with a latch. Metal handles attached to either side. This fabulous original museum type piece is in Excellent condition with only slight tarnishing to its non-painted metal parts. Almost no chipping. This is one of the nicest Yankee stadium artifacts yet that we have offered.
