Throughout his 45 year career, Jim Finks did almost everything imaginable in Pro-Football. A seven-year player for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Finks later served as a highly respected executive for the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and New Orleans Saints. During his time as an executive, Finks specialized in turning losing NFL franchises into Super Bowl contenders. Finks passed away in 1994, as a result of lung cancer, and was inducted into the Pro-Football Hall of Fame in 1995. Presented is a vintage Wilson NFL football (Pete Rozelle, Commissioner) signed and inscribed by Jim Finks. Finks has signed the ball, "To Ben Best Wishes Jim Finks", in bold (9-10 out 10) black ink. The ball itself shows only light wear and rates a strong EX-MT. Finks signed footballs are seldom seen, as his Hall of Fame induction came post-mortem, thereby limiting the demand for his signature.
