This jersey was personally given to Andre Dawson as a gift from Dallas Cowboy legend Bob Hayes, and is offered as an authentic piece of Andre Dawson’s collection (LOA from Dawson). “Bullet” Bob Hayes (D. 2002) was once considered to be the world’s fastest human. After creating a new world record for his anchor sprint in the 100m relay during the 1964 Olympics, for which he brought home the gold, Hayes went on to win a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys in 1972. He is the only athlete in history to win an Olympic gold medal and win a Super Bowl. He revolutionized the wide receiver position and subsequent opposing defenses because of his blazing speed. Blue mesh Dallas Cowboys road jersey with his number “22” sewn onto the front, back & shoulders in white tackle twill. “Hayes” on straight nameplate between the shoulder blades. Collar tagging is “Southland Athletic” with [size] 46” flag tag. Excellent use and wear. He is certainly recognized as one of the sport’s pioneering legends.
