An incredible offering of 500 original Radio City Music Hall row seats from 1933. These Art Deco seats were designed by legendary interior designer Donald Deskey, and feature black iron sides and thick, red, mohair upholstering. These seats were saved from demolition during the restoration of Radio City, and each seat is accompanied by a small plaque attesting to its authenticity. Radio City Hall is an international Entertainment landmark. More than 300 million people have sat in these seats to enjoy stage shows, movies, concerts and special events. For decades, America's most popular entertainers have thrilled audiences there including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Linda Ronstadt, Bill Cosby, Liberace, Sammy Davis, Jr., just to name a few. Since the Hall’s opening in 1933, more than 700 movies have had their premieres at Radio City, including the original King Kong; National Velvet; White Christmas; Mame; Breakfast at Tiffany's; To Kill a Mockingbird; Mary Poppins; and 101 Dalmatians. An amazing opportunity to obtain functional, and comfortable pieces of Entertainment history. Note, these seats are all middle seats, and do not include end seats. Winning bidder is responsible for making shipping arrangements.
