Collection of 1910s and 1920s Parrish prints all in magnificent original, blue and gold frames. Maxfield Parrish, probably the century’s most desirable and collected illustrator, achieved success with his fantastical images of "exotic" and erotic innocence. His best works of art are represented in this collection. Collection is comprised House of Art, Reinthal and Newman C.A. Crane Cleveland etc. most with paper labels on the back identifying the work. Almost all have their original backing and are EX-MT. A few of the frames may have a few chips. The collection consist of: 1) Large Cropped Edison Mazda Calendar – Reveries (14.5x21.5”) framed overall (17x24.5”). 2) Rubiyat overall (9.25x31.25”). 3) Evening (11.5x14”) with frame (14.5x17.5”). 4) Dinky Bird (10.75 x 15.25”) with frame (13x17”). 5) The Canyon (5.5x9.5”) with frame (7x11”). 6) The Prince (Knave of Hearts) (9.25x11.75”), with frame (11x13.5”). 7) Air Castles (11.5x15.5”) with frame (14.75x17.5”). 8) Morning (11.5x14.5”) with frame (13.25x16”). 9) Pierrot (9x10.75) with frame (12.25x14”). 10) Daybreak (9.5x17.5) with frame (12.5x20.5”).
