Jacket worn by Elvis in Viva Las Vegas, consigned by a member of the “Memphis Mafia” and one of Elvis Presley’s closest friends, Lamar Fike. Viva Las Vegas was released by MGM in 1964 and became one of Elvis’ most popular films. Jacket has an MGM Studio silk embroidered label which reads “Elvis Presley Prod. 1868 Chest 42”. Beautifully made of Khaki summer weight cotton with kid leather patches. LOA from Lamar Fike explains the origins of the jacket, includes pictures of Elvis wearing the jacket, & describes his relationship to Elvis with photos documenting that relationship.
