After establishing himself as one of the best performers in the NBA, Bill Sharman put on quite a show in the 1955 All-Star game. A consummate competitor, Sharman was a methodical, textbook type of player who brought an unmatched work ethic and competitive attitude every time he stepped onto the court. He was a perfectionist who took winning to a new level - he was the ultimate gamer! After being invited to play in the 1955 NBA All-Star game, Sharman responded by contributing 15 points (10 in the 4th quarter) to help the East 100-91 victory and get the All-Star Game's MVP award. Front of cup is engraved, "National Basketball Association Award to Bill Sharman, Most Valuable Player - fifth annual All Star Game, New York - Jan. 18, 1955." Top adorned with basketball player figurine. EX.
