Boston Red Sox stadium pin issued at Fenway Park during the 1912 World Series. This is a rare stadium pin and just the second example we have offered in the past twenty-five years. The red celluloid pin is designed in the shape of of a baseball, with the white-lettered text reading "Red Sox 1912 World Series. Manufactured by "A. R. Lopez & Bro." of Massachusetts, as noted by the paper insert on the reverse. The front surface displays crazing throughout and there is a tiny chip above the "D" in "Red Sox." In Fair to Good condition overall, but still a visually appealing souvenir commemorating the first of Boston's four World Championships between the years 1912 and 1918.
