Displayed are two single-signed color photos of Ted Williams. Both photos were in a framed piece and have been taken out. Williams played his entire 19-year career with the Boston Red Sox. Despite missing nearly a total of five years as a Marine military pilot during both the Korean Conflict and World War II, Williams hit 521 home runs while batting a career .344, with six AL batting titles. Williams also was a 2-time Triple Crown winner and a 2-time AL MVP.
It appears that both photos were most likely taken in Florida, during spring training. Each of the photos measures approx. 8x10". The photo of Williams in a batting stance is miscut on top. The included single-signed photos were originally part of a 38x41" multi-signed display with 10 signatures. Both offered photos have been signed with a blue, fiber tip marker. The photo with Williams in a batting stance has a signature that is clearly visible, but on the light side. Overall, the photo with Williams in a batting stance, with the top miscut, is in good condition. The photo of Williams kneeling with his bat is in EXCELLENT condition. The photos come with a JSA letter for the full piece (Cert. Number: B33803). The offering comes with a JSA letter for the original, full piece.
