A rare Cal Ermer single-signed baseball. Cal Ermer has the unique distinction of playing in only one game during his Major League Baseball career. As a member of the Washington Senators, Ermer went hitless in three at bats on September 26, 1947, his only game as a player. He later became the Minnesota Twins manager for the 1967 and 1968 seasons. Ermer signed the sweet spot of this Official American League (Harridge) ball with a ballpoint pen. The ball is in used condition. "U.S.N." is stamped on the ball. This possibly stands for United States Navy as Ermer has a military background. More specifically he served in the Marines during World War II. Includes a full PSA LOA.
