2004 Sammy Sosa Chicago Cubs signed game used bat with inscription. Easton model SS3 maple bat measures 35.25" and weighs 36.2 ounces. Outstanding use is evident including a handle crack, clear ball ink impressions, and pine tar throughout the handle; the pine-tar also covers a stamp or sticker of the flag of the Dominican Republic, which is split through as part of the crack. The knob bears Sammy's distinctive white cloth tape bubble, and written in black marker on the barrel end is "SS3 - 21 - 34.5 32" (note that the last numbers are bat measurements before the addition of the knob tape, as reflected in the LOA). It is autographed between barrel stamp and trademark in crisp 8-9/10 blue Sharpie along with his #21; written below is "Game Used 2004." That 2004 season was the last of Sosa's legendary 13 yrs in the Windy City, during which he accumulated 545 of his 609 career homers. Comes with full LOA from PSA, with the bat earning a grade of PSA/DNA GU 9, and comes with separate PSA LOA for the autograph as well as a Sosa holo.
