Pair of deer antlers, mounted on either end of a wood block, signed by former Major League slugger Rocky Colavito. In the world of Rocky Colavito signed items, the offered piece is certainly among the scarcest, not to mention the most unusual. The wood block has been covered with a brown velvet cloth, upon which Colavito has written the following inscription in black marker: "To Dan/I Shot This Buck/Rocky Colavito." Both the inscription and signature are boldly scripted and grade "9." Incredibly, this is not the first set of mounted deer antlers signed by Colavito that we have seen. While they are certainly not common, it appears that Colavito, an avid hunter, made gifts of deer antlers such as these to close friends. For any collector wishing to add a true conversation piece to their collection, this is the one! The antlers each measure approximately six inches in height. The wood block, which is heart shaped, measures 4.5x4.5x2".
