A New York Mets jersey worn by pitcher George Stone during the 1974 season. The front tail tag shows that the garment was made by Rawlings and is a size 42. The is another tag in the collar that reads 42-74-40 for the size, year and player's number. The jersey shows great signs of use with loose threading evident above the M on the front. Stone has signed the jersey on the front side in blue marker. The lot will also include a Certificate of Authenticity. Stone pitched for the Atlanta Braves prior to joining the Mets.
