A bat used by iconic New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter during the 2010 All-Star Game held at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. The black Louisville Slugger bat is a model number P72, is 34" long and weighs 31.1 ounces. The bat features tremendous signs of wear with ball and seam marks along the barrel. The bat has a crack in the handle. Jeter has signed the bat in silver ink on the barrel. The lot includes a photo match certificate from PSA (Getty 103116923). The lot also features a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA and the service has awarded the item a grade of GU 9.5, and a COA from Steiner Sports. Jeter would go one for two in the game, which was won by the National League by a score of 3-1. This was one of 14 All-Star games Jeter would play in during his career. The Yankees star retired following the 2014 season and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020.
