Except for the previously mentioned very small smudge on the signature on the Plummer helmet and the loose tape on the Olsen helmet, the mostly Riddell mini helmets are in EXCELLENT condition. Most of them are approx. 4.5" high and approx. 5.5" from the back of the helmets to the front of the face bars. Some of the helmets are slightly larger, measuring about 5" in height and approx. 6" in length. Many of these decorative helmets even have a size listed: "5&3/8." The details are meticulously crafted, even including chin straps and interior padding. Each helmet has a PSA Cert. Sticker for the signature, affixed to the back of the helmet. Many of the helmets also come with a PSA/DNA COA that matches the sticker number on the helmet. Some helmets are placed on an approx. 5x7" light plastic display stand. The signatures and inscriptions are done with a variety of fine tip markers, and the color may vary from black, and include gold, silver, blue, etc. Generally, the signatures are bold, and the autographs most often are 7 or 8/10. The collection is packed with the autographs of football immortals, Hall of Famers and stars. The addition of these colorful and wonderfully detailed mini helmets to any sports collection will generate great nostalgic interest, especially for their great vintage attraction combined with their terrific eye appeal.
