The ticket has been laminated and affixed to a white backing, making it so that it cannot be removed. The ticket has a face value of $150 and was for a ringside seat. The item was originally sold at Christie's Auction House in 1997. Both fighters went into the match undefeated and Frazier would win the bout, handing Ali his first professional loss. They would fight two more times with Ali winning each match.
