Presented is an Emmitt Smith Florida Gators helmet that was signed by the College and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back. Smith played three seasons for the Florida Gators (1987-89). He was a unanimous All-American in 1989, he but left before his senior season to enter the NFL Draft. Smith finished his playing career at Florida with 58 school records, including rushing yards in a season (1,599), rushing yards in a game (316) and career rushing yards (3,928). He finished 7th in voting for the '89 Heisman Trophy. He played 15 seasons in the NFL: Dallas Cowboys (1990-2002), Arizona Cardinals (2003-04). He was an 8-time Pro Bowl selection, a 3-time NFL touchdown leader, and a 4-time rushing yardage leader. He was a 3-time Super Bowl Champion with Dallas, and he was the Super Bowl MVP for the 1993 season. He currently holds NFL records for most rushing yards (18,355) and running back career rushing touchdowns (164).

The Riddell AUTHENTIC HELMET is orange, with white and blue trim. "Gators," in blue script, is on each side. A white stripe, trimmed in blue, runs from front to back. The helmet has a two-bar cage. and a chin strap, with "Riddell" appearing on each chin strap. "Riddell" appears at the top front. It has a Riddell warning imprinted on a special bar running from ear to ear. There is an attached, outside warranty card and also two warranty decals inside, and another warranty decal outside, at the back. The shell of the helmet has a size "L" decal. The back has a PSA decal (AN83003). The offering also comes with a PSA COA, also reading (AN83003). The helmet was signed on top by Smith, with a bold signature in blue, fine tip marker.
